Vintage Leitz Wetzlar Trinocular ORTHOLUX Medical Research Scientific Microscope
Estate fresh vintage Leitz trinocular Ortholux microscope in as-found untested condition.
Measures approximately 17 1/2" tall x 9 1/2" wide x 12 1/4" deep.
Includes everything pictured: Leitz Ortholux body #646286, 3 objective lenses (ausJENA Planachromat 10/0 25160/-, Unitron 5x TL80, Unitron 1x TL80 w/ adapter), Leitz Wetzlar 12.5 x M ocular lens pair, adjustable stage piece, and triocular head piece.
Serialized inventory decal from South Jersey Medical Research Foundation of Camden, NJ.
Fresh out of a local estate. Very good as-found vintage condition with light evidence of storage and handling. Some very minor scratches and handling marks throughout. All pieces appear to move smoothly but are slightly dusty or dirty from decades of storage. May be incomplete / missing pieces. We are not at all knowledgeable about microscopes and have not attempted to clean or evaluate the functionality of this instrument. Untested. Sold as-is / as-found.
