Vintage 1925-26 Conn New Wonder Alto Saxophone W/ Gear

I am selling my vintage late 24-26 Conn New Wonder series I era silver plated alto sax. The sax is as-is as when I bought it I found out that there was a leak causing the lower register notes (mainly Bb and B) to have that awful warbling sound. I could sort of control it if I thought about it enough but ultimately it will need it’s pads replaced. The repairs I’ve had done are minor but it will definitely save you time, should you have it repaired, I’ve had the lower register pads (Bb and B) replaced, some of the felt stoppers, and the neck cork replaced as well. Most of the other pads are in rough condition but like I mentioned before, only really seem to *really* effect the lower notes from being played, everything else plays, but a repadding should be considered.
A previous owner decided to replace the original thumb rest with a dime, which in all honesty, I think is actually pretty neat and it isn’t uncomfortable to rest your thumb on or anything. I will include what I believe to be the original thumb rest with the sax, should you wish to have a totally original experience with the horn.
Saying the horn has patina is an understatement, it has plenty to go around. But none of it is rusted, it’s just whatever silver plating Conn used back then that’s wearing off. But if you’re the kind of person that likes to be unique I’m sure you’ll have no problem with it.
The case itself is a Kaces and it is in solid condition with very little wear, if any, at all. All the other gear included are: the original lyre for sheet music, the original mouthpiece cap (sadly, I don’t have the original mouthpiece), the original metal neck cork, and various cleaning cloths and brushes.
