  • Condition: These tarps are in previously issued and have been heavily used. Expect to show signs if heavy use to include pinholes, flaking and wear of the urethane on the solid coyote Brown side, and easily repairable tears in the fabric up to one inch (1") long. Any longer tears have been repaired already. Snaps and grommets mostly appear to be in good shape. Recommend applying waterproofing spray prior to field use to ensure full water resistance.

    Description

    USMC Reversible MARPAT / Coyote Brown Field Tarp
    Heavy field use condition
    Genuine Issue USMC Reversible Woodland MARPAT/Coyote Field Tarp. NSN: 8340-01-519-2701. The Field Tarp is designed to provide Marines with a lightweight, waterproof covering, which can be used as ground cover, sunshade, gear cover, field litter, and a hasty shelter (Bivy) against the weather.  Buy two to snap together to make a full tent.
    This tarp is Woodland Marine Corps Pattern (MARPAT) on one side and Coyote Brown on the other.  The tarp size is approximately 82 1/2" x 92 1/2", has eight #1 black brass grommets and 24 sets of gypsy snaps around the circumference of the tarp, alternating male and female. Minimum of four bungees are included, one on each corner with some having a few on the middle grommets.
    The Woodland Marine Corps Pattern (MARPAT) side is rip stop nylon and the Coyote Brown side is nylon coated with flame resistant urethane.
