Unknown type Army pouch, 17" x 12" w grommets on sides, can anyone help? (B2)

Description

This appears to be some specialized pouch. It is made of canvas, and has two compartments, with a flap at top. Note that the bottom ---two corners have corners trimmed back.  Looks like something that was not designed to be outdoors. Maybe some kind of pouch that would be in vehicle or building. The measurements are 17 inch by 12  inch. There are 3 metal rings on either side, and I would guess for lashing it down on something. Came from retired Army guy.

Yes, I can. This is a document/maintenance pouch and was mounted on such vehicle with the holes provided. It was used like on a military trailer and was mounted on the front for easy access.
Please make sure that if you live in an apartment, or hotel, that you don't have your purchases sitting in a hallway.
