    Childs Red Staffordshire Transferware Dinner Set Plate
    RED BIRD FLORAL
    Staffordshire, England c1850
    This miniature child's dinner set plate dates to c1850. The color  is a rich country red decorated with an allove rsheet print with birds on a floral trellis with primrose flowers and vines while the edges are moulded with sprigging around the perimeter. The plate measures 4 inches across. Made in the Staffordshire region of England, it has no makers marks or backstamps.
    The plate is in great condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Stilt marks and other insignificant transfer imperfections, all original to the making and typical of these early wares, adding to their unique charm. Sold as described and as shown.
