    Description

    Staffordshire Prattware Child's Plate "Diligence", Raised Floral Border, c. 1820 - 1835. This small plate is very attractive with a blue transfer printed transfer scene and an embossed Pratt decorated floral rim. The transfer scene shows a gentleman with a cane waving to his wife in the doorway of their house as the gardener works in the garden. The dish has an embossed hand-painted floral design around the edge of the dish. This has a loral saying around the border that reads, "Diligence is the mother of good-luck. Drive thy business let not thy business drive thee." This has a price sticker on the bottom with a price of 5! Antique Staffordshire child's plate offered here with the opening bid the reserve and a "Buy It Now". Please note the Buy It Now will disappear once a bid is placed.
