Superb and exquisite piece used by women to adorn themselves during festive ceremonies.
The rich manufacturing technique, its imposing appearance and the consistent metal with which it is made, result in this exemplary piece that expresses the exceptional talent and mastery of the Mapuche silversmith.
This jewel, made in the first half of the last century, consists of two main plates; an upper one, with found birds and a fused superimposed pillán face, and a lower one, with a pillán torso also superimposed and with elegantly incised burin decorations embroidering geometric shapes. This plaque has seven crosses hanging.
The center of the jewel is made up of two rows of oval-shaped links and a rectangular ventral plate, all of them outlined with engraved incised decoration.
This product includes a presentation stand made of black iron.
Measurements: 29 x 13 cm.
