About:
The Utah Goldbacks series is a world-first
gold currency note
that solves how to use gold in small increments for circulation. As a complementary currency to the US dollar, the Goldbacks are made of small denominations of spendable physical gold. Because this is not a fiat currency, the Utah Goldbacks are not impacted by inflation. This is an incredible opportunity available to you thanks to the Utah Legal Tender Act from 2011 that legitimized certain types of gold as currency. Today, about 25-50% of small businesses in Utah accept this as a legal form of payment. However, you can also hold onto your Utah Goldbacks to strengthen your collection.
The obverse of the Utah Goldback bears an incredibly detailed, modern rendition of Justitia, the Roman Goddess also known as Lady Justice. She is blindfolded and carries a sword over her head glinting in the sun that she is ready to strike with. Her right hand, however, holds a traditional scale. She wears a long dress with a frilled apron over it. The background features Utah’s stunning mountainous wilderness and birds in the sky.
The reverse is intentionally left blank with a negative image from the front. This also serves as a security feature to better protect the Utah Goldbacks from counterfeiting.
