Black Hard Flight Crate.
I believe these things are made of plywood and then covered with that black nonskid material and of course reinforced on all corners and edges with metal.  This one has dimensions of 19.5" Tall x 19.5"Wide x 18" Deep.  Inside there are two compartments that are both heavily padded.  One side is padded with a soft foam and the other side is padded with hard foam.  The two sides are separated by barrier.  As you can see, the lid is totally removable which really makes unloading so much easier.   On each side there is a tough metal clasp which locks the lid in place.  Originally this crate was used by
SONY Corp.
to transport their Sony Vaio Computers.   Crates such as these are ideal for bands transporting instruments and their electronics.  Obviously computer gear travels very well in these crates also.  I am sure my photos will best further describe this item.
Interior
Dimensions Using Photo#9:
Right Larger Compartment is 18" Wide.  9'5" Across.  9 3/4" Top To Bottom.  Left Smaller Compartment has a small "Shelf" portion on each side.  In front of that shelf the Width is 16 3/4".  5" Across.  Width Directly Over The Shelf is 19".  These dimensions are the interior dimensions from the side of the foam across to the side of the foam.
Condition:
On a scale of 1 - 10 (Ten being New in Package Only), I can confidently grade this item's condition to be a
solid 7.5 at least.
Overall and Especially for being Pre-Owned, this Hard Freight Crate is in
EXCELLENT
Condition.  First, both interior and exterior are
No Less than 85% Immaculate.  There is Absolutely ZERO Dents/Dings/Damage
other than normal light superficial exterior wear such as old travel decals/scuffs/scratches.   Everything is totally visible in my pictures.  My photos are an accurate depiction of this item's
