    Up for auction we have this Historical Staffordshire Erie Canal inscription plate. This is the version being as late Governor and not Governor. It displays well with a highly professional repair to what looks like the plate being in half. Only noticeable under black light and appears perfect. You can’t even see the repair when looking at the plate with the naked eye. It measures 6 1/2” in diameter and dates circa 1825.
