The New Hampshire Goldback series represents the third release of a state exclusive, local voluntary currency, following similar releases in Utah and Nevada. Minted in five denominations, the notes are created from Aurum, which is a thin layer of 24 karat gold coated on each side with a durable polyester film. The Goldbacks feature selectively colorized, high resolution images which are rich with symbolic design elements derived from New Hampshire's history.
This non-legal tender 10 Goldback Aurum Foil Note is a form of local voluntary currency.
The note is minted from 1/100 Troy oz. of .999 fine gold.
The note features a measurement of 143 x 66 mm, with a thickness of 0.10 mm.
Incredibly Detailed Colorized Imagery
Obverse: Prospicientia, the female personification of foresight, is illustrated on the obverse wearing a soldier's Revolutionary War Era uniform. She sits with a focused, yet calm gaze atop a cannon situated on the shoreline of New Hampshire, as a humpback whale leaps from the Atlantic Ocean. A lighthouse glows in the distance, across the bay beside Fort Constitution (formerly Fort William and Mary), beneath a banner adorned with "PROSPICIENTIA." The scene demonstrates the foresight of New Hampshire's Sons of Liberty, who took control of the fort and raided its supplies before the arrival of British General Thomas Gage and his troops, effectively thwarting a conflict while stocking the Patriots with gunpowder, ammunition, muskets and cannons for future battles. Elegant script at the base of the image advises the viewer to "LOOK FORWARD," paired with the signature of Cheri Jensen, the accomplished Utah artist credited with the vintage style design. Inscribed "10 NEW HAMPSHIRE GOLDBACKS," "VOLUNTARY NEGOTIABLE INSTRUMENT" and "1/100 TROY OUNCE 24K GOLD."
Reverse: The Aurum note's innovative minting method causes a delicately frosted mirror image of the obverse design to appear on the reverse.

All documents and bonus items included with the product must also be returned. If the product is not returned with all original packaging and bonus items, is incomplete, or is returned after the 30-day return period, the Company reserves the right not to accept the return or to accept the return subject to a 20% restocking fee, in the Company's sole discretion. All returns with a purchase price over 0 must include a Return Authorization Number.
