Fossils-Rare Legally Collected Leaf/Plant-Green River Formation-Colorado

Offered here is a rare, beautiful, and most importantly legally collected undescribed leaf pair from the Green River Formation from Garfield County, Colorado (YES, COLORADO), Eocene in age. Both leaves
measures 1” long and 1 1/4” wide with a short petiole. Matrix for both measures about 2 1/2” x 2 1/2”. As you can see from the pictures, the leaves are nicely articulated and shows wonderful venation. These beautiful pieces were found about 30 years ago and legally collected from a ranchers land south of Rifle, Colorado. My parents met them at a restaurant on there way out to Utah.
