Faye Emerson was a American film actress and television actress and host. In 1944
she played one of her more memorable film roles as Zachery Scott's former wife in
The Mask of Dimitrios
. During television's "Golden Age", she hosted or appeared on
many talk shows and game shows wearing low-cut sweeping gowns and expensive,
dangling jewelry. With her poised stylish presence she became known as "The First
Lady of Television." Shows included:

(1945) as Joan Crawford's somewhat sleazy love interest. Other films
