This detailed flower is wonderfully preserved, with all five petals intact and easily seen. The fossil flower has great natural color and contrast and is well showcased on the squared plate of shale that also contains a LONG Salix cockerelli (Willow) leaf. This is an exciting specimen of a rare fossil flower and huge Willow leaf from the "Fossil Lake" Deposits.
