    Description

    I bought this hat from an Ecuadorian woman while visiting the country.
    The hat is a traditional "form pressed felt hat" that is handmade and decorated with bright colored ribbons and approximately 123 Ecuador un sucre coins.  These type hats are worn during celebrations and festivities.
    Most of the Ecuador coins are dated in the 198o's.   You can not read most of the coins date due to hole being drilled through date to secure to hat.
