Postcard -- shows two statutes of Gods in Peking, China.  The message on the back side is very interesting:  Chestekov Building, Harbin, Manchuria.  My dear Jessie, This is just a line to let you know I have not forgotten you & that I owe you a decent letter.  We've been up here just a month & have been so busy trying to get settled.  This postal is a picture of two gods or devils (whichever they are) in a temple in Peking.  I have not looked for any views of Harbin, as it's a most unattractive Russian town & I don't think there are any "views" & have not yet learned enough Russian to ask for anything.  I will write soon as I owe so many letters.  With love & wishing you a  Merry Christmas, Carol.    The publisher is Camera Craft Co., Peking.   Undated, but the Velox in the stamp box indicates the postcard dates to the period 1907 to 1917.   Very good condition, wear at the corners and edges, some browning on back side.  Quite a nice item for the specialist collector due to the written message.
