Description
Offered for sale is this antique Staffordshire black glazed pottery bowl or tray, decorated with puce and blue enamel. It dates from around 1810 and was manufactured by Thomas Lakin. I have another similar piece listed separately and I discount combined shipping.
Please excuse the reflections in the pictures, the glaze is very shiny.
The bowl/tray is just over 8.5 inches square.
It is in excellent condition. There are no chips, no cracks, no flea bites, no restoration. There are a few light scratches and touches of wear. There are 3 kiln stilt marks on the front.
Please see the close up pictures.
