ANTIQUE ENGLISH 1879 registry AESTHETIC BLACK TRANSFER PLATE YE BEAR & YE BEES

You are viewing a 10" diameter aesthetic black transferware plate with an English Registry mark which dates it to 1879.  It is in remarkably good condition for age, with only one small chip - shown front and back on the photos.  Very few utensil marks and still has good shine - light age appropriate wear on the edge.
The transfer is charming - a bear lying on his back on top of a broken plank with bees flying out of a partially toppled hive.  One side shows a branch with flowers - the opposite side is written 'Ye Bear & Ye Bees'.
