Antique 19th C Staffordshire PAIR Victorian Couple Figurines Statues Art #3/5 NR

Up for auction is this pair of antique 19th C Staffordshire figurines / statues of a Victorian couple with the male and female both carrying perhaps fruit on their shoulder with one curled hand and the other hand at the hip and next to a large yellow hat.
They look like they are doing a coordinated dance.
They are being sold together as they belong together and both are in nice overall condition.
Female has some minor paint loss mainly to the hair and some minor surface wear but no cracks or chips. The male looks perfect from the front and the back just has a small either glaze miss or very old glaze chip on the surface.
Nice original figurines I believe dating to circa 1850s-1880s. Two of many figurines available this week!
They measure about 8” inches tall, 3” inches long and 2.3” inches wide (20.3 cm, 7.6 cm, 5.8 cm).
Would make fantastic display pieces, fine addition to a collection, or a great gift!
