Angarophloios altemans (Schmalhausen, 1877)
.
LEPIDODENDRA (Lepidodendrales) - extinct Paleozoic plauformes that reached the size of a tall tree (up to 40 m high and 1 m in diameter). In translation, it means "scaly tree". Most of the mass of their thick trunk fell on a powerfully developed bark, covered with leaf pads of a diamond-shaped or scaly "snake" shape.
Locality: Yenisei, Krasnoyarsk Region, Russia.
