    Outstanding Example of Lepidodenderon Leaf Petiole Scar Displaying a Classic Geometric Pattern! This Amber Colored Piece of Dark Red Siltstone Measures Approximately 2.5 X 3 Inches and is about a Half Inch Thick. From the Upper Carboniferous of Silesia, Poland! Also included is this approximately 5 X 5 inch Specimen of a Pyrophyllite Covered Complete 5 Inch Alethopteris Fern
    Frond while on the Back is a Rare Form similar to today’s Ebony Spleenwort in Appearance! I Their are also multiple Pyrophyllite Covered Stems. The Black Lepidodenderon Scale Raised Impressions is very Neat! On the verso is Carbonized Tissue from Inside the Lepidodenderon! This measures about 4 Inches X 3 and Is an Inch Thick. Lastly is this Complete Segment of a Calamites from the Carboniferous of Plainfield, MA (as well as the Black Lepidodenderon)! This Mudstone Example measures approximately 2 3/4 Wide X 3 1/4 Long X 3 1/4 Inch Thick. When Calamites grew they would progressively add more segments.
