  • Condition: Beautiful 1952 Conn 28N Constellation Alto, s/n 3455XX. It is the nicest one I have seen. We just repadded the sax and it sounds great. Original lacquer is very good for it's age with more wear at the contact points. Lacquer on original neck is more sparse. The horn is engraved USN under the logo signifying this was a service band horn. Engraving is sharp and beautiful. This is a Low Pitch instrument. Original Lucite keyguard is intact and in very good condition, No major splits or chips. A few of the mounting screw holes have stress cracks, see pictures. For best cosmetic description please see pictures. Note: has been re-padded, shop adjusted and play tested. As with any pro vintage horn, you will want your tech to set it up for your preferences.
