    Description

    T
his 1 gram [1000 Milligram] 24 karat pure [.999 fine] "American Bison" Aurum gold note is patterned after the famous 1901 .00 American Bison/Lewis and Clark bank note. This gold note was produced by Valaurum, Inc., of Portland, Oregon, employing a proprietary process that layers pure gold in atomic particles measured super-accurately, the gold content weighed constantly using the best equipment in the world. While the Aurum process is still in its infancy, Valaurum, Inc., is currently manufacturing Aurum notes as legal currency in several countries [Cook Islands, Solomon Islands, Ghana], and the notes are available in the USA as "Voluntary Currency" among willing businesses in Utah, Nevada and New Hampshire, with Wyoming and Maine next in line. An ordinary assay procedure is used to reclaim the gold, which is layered between sheets of polyester. Aurum  gold notes come in numerous weights, data on each of which is embossed on the notes themselves, along with security features and a unique serial number. These notes are nearly impossible to duplicate, and the value of the gold in them is likely to increase so that "premiums" paid now for them will be recovered generously, and of course they are collectors' items due to their craftmanship and scarcity.
In addition to the "American Bison" Aurum gold note, this order comes with the note enclosed in a plastic bill sleeve, attached to a Golden Life Card as the photo shows. The "mini-bio" printed on a label to the inside left of the card explains the basic essentials of the note and of the origin of gold. These notes are beautiful and are a pleasurable way of stacking gold as a valuable asset you can depend on to resell when the time is to your choosing. A colorful envelope is also included with your purchase as a useful way to store the note or to use in gifting the item. These notes are commonly sold by major gold dealers, but not at this price, and not with the "extras" thrown in. Overall a nice deal if you ever thought of buying one of these. [APMEX charges 5 for this Bison note. Thought you'd like to know.]
